fool-proof garlic bread
The below is barely a recipe… but in my opinion, it’s the best garlic bread. It’s simple, it’s easy, it’s fool-proof. This is how my mom always made it growing up and she’s never had a disappointed customer. Bon appetit!
Ingredients:
1 baguette
Butter
Garlic salt
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°
Slice your baguette in half longways
Then, slice your baguette into 8 sections (Tip: Think of it as making 8 mini sandwich size pieces)
Generously butter both the top and bottom slice
Then, sprinkle with all over with garlic salt (Tip: If you don’t have garlic salt, you can mix 2/3 part garlic powder with 1/3 part salt)
Reassemble your baguette by putting the top piece on the bottom and lining them up in order
Wrap up your baguette in aluminum foil (like a burrito!)
Put in the oven for about ~20 minutes
Serve warm. Bon appetit!
