fool-proof garlic bread

The below is barely a recipe… but in my opinion, it’s the best garlic bread. It’s simple, it’s easy, it’s fool-proof. This is how my mom always made it growing up and she’s never had a disappointed customer. Bon appetit!

Ingredients:

  • 1 baguette

  • Butter

  • Garlic salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°

  2. Slice your baguette in half longways

  3. Then, slice your baguette into 8 sections (Tip: Think of it as making 8 mini sandwich size pieces)

  4. Generously butter both the top and bottom slice

  5. Then, sprinkle with all over with garlic salt (Tip: If you don’t have garlic salt, you can mix 2/3 part garlic powder with 1/3 part salt)

  6. Reassemble your baguette by putting the top piece on the bottom and lining them up in order

  7. Wrap up your baguette in aluminum foil (like a burrito!)

  8. Put in the oven for about ~20 minutes

  9. Serve warm. Bon appetit!
